LinkedIn Post Comments Scraper
Top comments under public LinkedIn posts, about ten each
What it does
Give post links, urns or bare ids and each comment LinkedIn shows a logged out visitor becomes a row: text with its line breaks, commenter name, canonical profile link, person or company, profile picture, reactions, attached images and whether the post's author wrote it. Every row repeats post_comment_count, LinkedIn's own total, and post_comments_shown, so you can see what you did not get. The ceiling is the first page, nine or ten comments, and replies are not shown to visitors at all.
Built in
- ✓ posted_at as an ISO time accurate to the second
- ✓ About 10 comments per post is the hard ceiling
- ✓ Replies and reply counts are not returned
- ✓ commenter_type separates people from pages
- ✓ Up to 500 posts per run, about 3 seconds each

Common questions
What does a comment row carry? +
comment_id and comment_url, text, commenter_name, commenter_headline, commenter_profile_url, commenter_username, commenter_type, commenter_image_url, posted_at and posted_ago, reaction_count, image_urls, is_post_author and position, plus the post's id, url, author, publish time, comment and reaction counts and post_comments_shown.
Why only about ten comments? +
LinkedIn shows a visitor who is not logged in the first page of comments, ranked most relevant, then a sign-up link. This actor does not log in, so ten is the ceiling: of 24 test posts with ten or more comments, 17 gave ten and 5 gave nine.
What is the cost? +
$0.0018 per comment on the Apify free plan and $0.00135 on Gold and above, plus $0.003 at run start. Links that are not posts, posts LinkedIn refuses to show, duplicate inputs and the summary row cost nothing. A page is about 22 KB over the wire.
What is deliberately not in the data? +
Comments past the first page, replies and reply counts, the pinned mark, the Author badge, which is worked out by comparing the commenter with the post's author instead, most commenters' headlines, and who reacted or reposted. None of it is shown to a logged out visitor.
Which post formats are accepted? +
The link from Copy link to post, a /feed/update/urn:li:activity link, an urn such as urn:li:ugcPost followed by its number, or the bare number on its own. Tracking parameters are ignored and a post two inputs point at is delivered once.
