Who we are

The Mine Works builds and publishes web-scraping tools ("actors") on the Apify platform. This site, themineworks.com, is the marketing and documentation home for those actors.

The short version

• We do not sell your personal data.
• Data you scrape by running our actors belongs to you. We do not retain or resell it.
• Our actors run on Apify's infrastructure and are governed by Apify's own privacy and data policies.
• This website collects only the minimal analytics needed to understand traffic.

Information this website collects

themineworks.com is a static site. We collect standard, aggregate analytics (pages visited, referrer, approximate region, device type) to improve the content. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information to browse.

Running our actors

When you run one of our actors, you do so through your own Apify account. The inputs you provide and the results produced are processed on Apify's platform under Apify's Privacy Policy. We, as the actor developer, do not receive a copy of your run inputs or outputs beyond the aggregate usage statistics Apify shares with all developers (such as run counts and success rates).

Scraped data and responsible use

Our actors collect publicly available information. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any scraped data complies with applicable laws (including data-protection regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA) and the terms of the sites you target. We build tools; how they are used is determined by the person running them.
