What it does
Search Thomasnet by keyword, category, state or ZIP radius, or paste supplier profile links and IDs. Each row is one supplier with company type, annual sales range, employee range, year founded, certifications as a list with scope and audit date, address, phone, website, product categories, industries served, materials and named personnel with titles. Thomasnet shows a visitor who is not signed in only 25 ranked results, so the actor reads the matching category lists and widens by region and ZIP to go further.

Across 2,219 rows in the maker's test runs, phone was present on 99 percent, website on 97 percent, annual sales range on 93 percent and employee range on 95 percent. Certifications arrive as a list, each with its scope and date.

Each keyword is matched to Thomasnet's own categories and every supplier in those lists is read, 100 per call. Deep search then repeats the keyword in each region and around the ZIP of every supplier found, 25 miles at a time.
Can I restrict results to suppliers actually located in a state? +
Yes, that is what locatedInRegionsOnly does, and it is on by default. Thomasnet splits seven large states into two halves, and giving the state name reads both so you do not lose half the suppliers.
